As a child I suffered from a mild case of measles, even though I was immunized. I remember the experience being very uncomfortable, and really inconvenient, especially for a child, who just wanted to go out and play. What I didn’t know then, is that despite the inconvenience I was incredibly lucky. I believe that without immunizations, the complications from measles could have been a lot worse, than the slight discomfort that I had to endure. Why do I choose to immunize? Because when my health is at stake I’d rather take my chances with immunizations than rely on luck
